Professional Driver Improvement Course NEWLY REVISED!

PDIC is designed to sharpen a driver's skill through a structured look at experiences and problem areas shared by all drivers such as bad weather, winter roads, pressures of time and distance, etc. This newly updated course includes topics on off-highway driving, tire blowout, and distracted driving legislation. This course focuses on drivers' expectations and analysis of dangerous situations. It assumes that the drivers know what they are doing before they take the course. PDIC is taught from a trucker's perspective.

***NOTE: This new revised version of the PDIC qualifies for the 3 demerit removal and fulfills one of the pre-course requirements for the Long Combination Vehicle course. Those wishing to avail themselves of these benefits MUST take the final examination at one of the two AMTA offices (Edmonton or Calgary), or in front of a certified PDIC instructor; any fees charged by these instructors is the sole responsibility of the student.
